Chris Wright (b. 1962 in London, England) is the designer of several electronic music products manufactured by Cheetah Marketing during the 1980s. In 1993 he co-founded Soundscape Digital Technology and for 9 years was the company's President and Technical Director. Chris formed and played lead guitar in well known bands in South Wales during the early 1980s including Dead Reckoning and ManEscape, appearing on local radio and national TV.
After studying Electronics at Cardiff University he joined Ascom Telecommunications Ltd, where he was the lead designer of two radio telephone products that in consecutive years were given the prestigious 'Best Buy' award by the UK's consumer magazine Which?.
In 1995 Chris Wright and Nick Owen were jointly given the Cardiff Young Entrepreneur of the Year award for their success in developing Soundscape Digital Technology into a company that exported its products worldwide.
Chris Wright is currently General Manager of Dalet Ltd, a leading manufacturer of TV and radio automation systems used by broadcasters worldwide.
