Vista Chinesa

The Vista Chinesa ("Chinese View") is one of the best views of Rio de Janeiro is at the topmost of one of the roads that connect Jardim Botânico to the Parque Nacional & Floresta da Tijuca, known as the Vista Chinesa.

From this Chinese-style folly you can admire the Corcovado, Sugar Loaf, Ipanema, Leblon and the Guanabara Bay, all the way to Niterói. The road is an attraction per se, winding through centenary trees and offering some spectacular views on the way.

It's perfect to radical sports, principly skateboarding, hang gliding, mountaineering, walking and le parkour.

The place have many celebrities of world and tourist of many around the globe.

Tijuca National Park

Estrada da Vista Chinesa skirts the Mesa do Imperador viewpoint and at the Morro da Vista Chinesa (380m/1247ft) runs into Estrada Dona Castorina. From the top of the hill there are views of the Municipal Park, the Botanic Garden and a long stretch of the south coast.
