The American Society of Naval Engineers (ASNE) is a professional association of American naval engineers.
ASNE's stated mission is to "advance the knowledge and practice of naval engineering in public and private applications and operations; to enhance the professionalism and well-being of members, and to promote naval engineering as a career field." Its membership consists of military and civilian professionals as well as engineering students. The ASNE is headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia.
