Moshonki (Russian: Мошонки) is a village (selo) in Meshchovsky District of Kaluga Oblast, Russia.[1]
It is located 155 km southwest of Moscow River Serena (A tributary of the Oka tributary Zhizdra) . It has 3,200 inhabitants (2003). Moschonki administratively belongs to Meshchovsky District,
Crossing the village is the Moscow–Kiev railway line. The nearest station at Kudrinskaja is about 7 km away from Moschonki.
The best known feature of Moshonki is the structure of the place Alexander NevskyChurch from the 18th Century, which was built in the 1930s, destroyed by a fire, and recently rebuilt.
Because of its name, the place is relatively well known in Russia, it means "Scrotum".
