Gameplay

Yellow and Red are the two playable characters. There are two modes, the math mode, and adventure mode. Math mode is simply adventure mode with math problems, with difficulty of the problems slightly progressing as the levels grow higher. The game has a total of twelve levels.

Criticism

The game was criticised for being based on a candy product. Its "Math Mode" was praised for having fun features, but not so much having problems as much as having math facts. It was also criticised for being too easy on higher difficulties.

M&M's: Shell Shocked

"M&M's: Shell Shocked" was released on September 28 2001 by Simon & Schuster Interactive. A 3-D platformer game, players control the Red and Yellow M&M's in an effort to escape from their miniature counterparts (M&M minis). On July 20 2003 the game was released in Europe by JoWood Productions.

M&M's Kart Racing

"M&M's Kart Racing" is a video game of the racing genre for the Nintendo DS and Wii video game consoles based on the M&M's license and developed by Frontline Studios. The game allows players to play one of M&M's characters in 12 race environments.

Reception

On November 17 2007 gameplay footage of the game was featured as Joystiq's "Today's most hilariously atrocious video", [Cite web|url=http://www.joystiq.com/2007/11/17/todays-most-hilariously-atrocious-video-mandms-kart-racing/|title="Today's most hilariously atrocious video": M&M's Kart Racing on Joystiq.com|accessdate=2007-11-17] stating that the gameplay footage "is a true testament to the wrong way to build a kart racer".
