Oswaldo Daniel Sosa (September 19, by|1985, Tovar, Venezuela) is a right handed pitcher within the Minnesota Twins organization currently assigned to the twins' advanced-A minor league affiliate, the Fort Myers Miracle. He is 6'4" tall, weighs 225 lbs., and signed with Twins as a nondrafted free agent on July 4, by|2002.

His best season, so far was by|2006, when he went 9-7 with a 2.75 earned run average and 95 strike outs in twenty starts (one complete game) for the Beloit Snappers-- earning himself a place on the Midwest League Western division All-Star team, and a promotion to the Twins' advanced A affiliate, the Fort Myers Miracle. With the Miracle, he went 4-1 with a 2.08 ERA and 27 strikeouts in only 34.2 innings.

In by|2007, Oswaldo went 5-5 with a 2.23 ERA and 82 strike outs for the Miracle to, again, earn himself an All-Star nod and a promotion-- this time to the Twins' double-A affiliate, the New Britain Rock Cats.

However, Oswaldo's tenure with the Rock Cats did not go as well as he had hoped. After going 1-4 with a 4.50 ERA in 2007, and going 2-5 with a 5.81 ERA in the first half of by|2008, he was sent back down to Fort Myers. With the Miracle, he went 2-2 with a 5.44 ERA and 33 strikeouts in 17 games, but only six starts.
