Curriculum
Though smaller than many international schools in Bangkok, Wells has sought to provide an equally broad curriculum. In addition to core language arts, mathematics, science and social studies classes, the following elective courses are offered at the elementary level: music, computer science, drama, art, physical education, Thai culture, Thai language, English support, Japanese, Hindi, French, Mandarin Chinese and Mandarin Taiwanese. The secondary campus at On Nut, in addition to the above electives, also offers choir, instrumental music, visual art and dance. After school activities and clubs include debate, piano, Taekwondo, swimming, ballet, basketball, soccer and cricket. In the 4th European Union-Thailand National Intervarsity Debate Championship [http://www.eu-thailanddebate.com/?q=%3Cfront%3E] , held on March 28-31 of 2008, Well's debate team defeated the defending champs to win first prize. Wells strives to develop innovative teaching strategies and educational approaches. It is, for example, the first known international school in Bangkok to incorporate a morning meditation at assembly. The school similarly attempts to integrate modern technology with classroom learning: Wells' instructors maintain school blogs, and both instructors and students take an active role in the WellsNET Online Learning System [http://www.wells-blog.com/wellsonline/] .
