Formed in 2001, the band was initially named “Cyclone Season”, consisting of McKillon and Stefwell. The band began to gain greater recognition by playing at local gigs. By early 2002, Darwit and Newstein had joined the band, taking on the role of the lead vocals and drummer. The band released their demo CD, consisting of 4 tracks in late 2002.
In 2004, the band released their first full-length album titled “Goodnight Uncle Sam” on Ginger Records. Touring subsequently followed to promote their album.
In 2006, the band released their second full-length album “Dystopian Dream”. This album contained more progressive elements, with the tracks “Friday” and “Red” being entirely instrumental.
The band is currently working on their third album, which is said to be released in 2009.
Lyrical Themes
Their first album “Goodnight Uncle Sam” dealt with issues regarding the use of propaganda during war periods. The band also covers certain anarchist ideals in songs such as “Conveyor Belt” and “Blind”.
