- Trails and Sails
Trails and Sails is an annual event sponsored each September by the
Essex National Heritage Commission . Promoted as a “Weekend to Go! Experience Essex Heritage,” Trails and Sails is a series of free events celebrating historical, cultural and natural sites throughoutEssex County ,Massachusetts . Since its inception in 2002, sponsored events have included such activities as: whale watches, march walks, kayaking, biking, foraging walks, architectural talks, farm tours, and more.
