Hurricane Ava

The name Ava has been used for five tropical cyclones in the Eastern Pacific Ocean.
* 1962's Tropical Storm Ava - A tropical storm which formed well clear of the Mexican coastline.
* 1965's Tropical Storm Ava - A tropical storm which stayed well out to sea.
* 1969's Tropical Storm Ava - A tropical storm that moved parallel to the southwest Mexican coast, but did not make landfall.
* 1973's Hurricane Ava - A Category 5 hurricane which did not approach land. It was the first Pacific hurricane penetrated by a NOAA Hurricane hunter.
* 1977's Tropical Storm Ava - A tropical storm which stayed clear of land.
