"Freezing Moon" is a single by the Norweigian black metal band Mayhem. The song "Carnage" appears as the b-side.

Both songs were recorded during 1990 with Dead as vocalist and Euronymous as guitarist. They originally appeared on a 1991 compilation album entitled "Projections of a Stained Mind". However, Dead committed suicide in April 1991, making these the only "studio" recordings to feature his vocals. They are also among the final studio recordings made by Euronymous, as he was murdered in August 1993.

The song "Freezing Moon" would be re-recorded for the album "De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas" (1994), with Attila Csihar as vocalist.
