"A Tribute to the Black Emperors" is a bootleg compilation album featuring songs by both Mayhem and Morbid.
It was released in 1995 as a tribute to Dead (Per Yngve Ohlin) and Euronymous (Øystein Aarseth). Dead performed vocals on all songs (save track 7), and committed suicide in April 1991. Euronymous performed guitar on the Mayhem songs, and was murdered in August 1993.
*Songs 1-5 are performed by Morbid, and are taken from the 1987 demo "December Moon".
*Songs 6-9 are performed by Mayhem, and are taken from various recordings.
