EarthLinked Technologies, Inc.

EarthLinked Technologies, Inc. ("EarthLinked" or "ETI") is a privately held manufacturer of direct exchange geothermal heat pump systems located in Lakeland, Florida, USA. The company has been a pioneer in direct exchange geothermal technology, often called DX geothermal.

EarthLinked was founded in 1980 by Hal Roberts and Bob Cochran. Following the energy crisis of the 1970s, Cochran had developed a technology to allow a heat pump to more efficiently use the constant temperature of the earth to heat and cool buildings. This produced a system that was far superior in efficiency while also longer-lasting and easier to maintain.

EarthLinked is now the leading manufacturer of DX geothermal systems in the United States.

In early 2008, EarthLinked moved into a new headquarters and manufacturing building, LEED certification pending. The offices in the building are heated and cooled using EarthLinked technology.
