slogan = Because knowledge is powerWomensLaw.org uses the Internet as a tool to reach victims of
domestic violence andsexual assault . The website houses legal information that is written so that victims can read it without the help of a lawyer. The legal information includes restraining orders (injunctions ),child custody ,divorce , immigration (Violence Against Women Act ), and other relevant laws. Much of it is written in both English and Spanish. The organization also has written legal information for other websites, including information about the Jewish "get" law for Jewish Women International.
