Tay Bee Aye is a Singaporean multidisciplinary visual artist. She studied Fine Art at the Lasalle-SIA College of the Arts with a Georgette Chen Art Scholarship awarded by the College, and graduated in 1999. Since then Tay actively participates in many arts activities and festivals, such as the 2000 & 2004 Art Festival projects at Clifford Pier for "Tracking Time" and St James Power Station for the exhibition "Reconstruction of a City".

Her signature creations of soft sculptures and installation works using fabric-based materials have been exhibited in various locations in Singapore namely, Suntec City and the Esplanade. In 2002, a controversy involved one of Tay's installation of 600 small fabric lip-shaped cushions on display at the atrium of Suntec City atrium. These creations were showcased as part of Nokia Singapore Art 2001 exhibition, and a majority of her handcrafted small cushions were stolen by the public during the exhibition period.cite news|last=Shzr Ee|first=Tan|title=Vanishing art|publisher=Straits Times Life!|date=2002-01-14|page=3]
