Screen Play is an Australian videogame culture blog, written by journalist Jason Hill for the Fairfax Media newspapers The Age (Melbourne) and The Sydney Morning Herald.

Screen Play was launched [ [http://blogs.theage.com.au/screenplay/archives//002113.html Screen Play's initial blog post] ] on May 5, 2006.In an initial post, Jason wrote that the blog would:

"...provide lively and entertaining coverage of the burgeoning games industry... a place where you can debate and share your thoughts on this exciting new medium. And hopefully, have plenty of fun."

Another incentive to would-be writers was a monthly prize of a Sony Playstation 3.
