King Biscuit Time is the solo project of Steve Mason, lead singer of the now-defunct Scottish group The Beta Band. Mason is currently signed to No Style Records, an imprint of Alan McGee's Poptones label. New single "C I AM 15" (featuring Topcat) was released on 26 September 2005. The debut album "Black Gold" was released on 15 May 2006. Steve is now working under the name of "Black Affair".
Steve is an occasional guest on Old jock radio, an internet radio station.
