The Fluoride Action Network (FAN) is an international coalition dedicated to raising awareness of the health effects of fluoride ingestion (due to water fluoridation as well as other sources), which it believes to be problematic due to fluoride's toxicity. The organization has distributed petitions requesting the abolition of water fluoridation, and disseminates educational materials related to this issue via its website.
