Samuel Epstein

Doctor Samuel S. Epstein is a medical doctor and professor emeritus of environmental medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago who is perhaps best known for his contributions to environmental medicine, and his contributions towards cancer prevention.

Monsanto and The Corporation

According to the documentary The Corporation, Epstein received private and secret documents from Monsanto delivered anonymously. These documents indicated a cover up to conceal from the public the extent of harm and potential harm to the public and cattle from their chemical Posilac designed to increase milk production in dairy cattle. Epstein was instrumental in alerting the public and helping the case against Monsanto.

Epstein was interviewed in the documentary and discussed the "epidemic of cancer" which he believes is caused by the proliferation of artificial and harmful chemicals created by industry which are increasingly found in our environment.
