One of the most beautiful villages in the Ramachandra puram mandal located at 2 km away in the east direction from "Draksharama" on the way to "Yanam".
The village is enriched with green all around. There is a Raj Mahal(RajaKota) in the village that reminds the reminiscences of Great history of the village. It has a high school "Sri Mahalakshmamma Hindu High School", that is very school which was stated before the independence.. This is the only school at 1950s and 1960s that is in that entire region.
The village if fully enriched with great Hindu temples of Lord "Rama", Lord "Shiva" and Lord "Venkateswara" apart from other temples of Village goddess.It has been in peoples beliefs that the village is protected by these Village Goddesses ( Grama Devatalu ). They are named "Gollalamma" and "Yellaramma". Goddess Gollalamma's festival is celebrated very grandly for every three years in the month of January along with the famous festival "Sankranthi" and Goddess Yellaramma's festival is celebrated once a year in the month of April/May.
The village has some mythological importance in the books of Hindu history and stories of Lord "Bhimashankara"(Lord Shiva),the powerful and famous god at "Draksharama" which is very famously known as "Dakshin Kasi"
