Career
Cranley originally played for Artane Beaumont before moving to Belvedere coming through the ranks before being scouted by English side Grimsby Town in August 2001. Cranley was the clubs fourth choice keeper behind Danny Coyne, Steve Croudson and Ronald Ermes, however he was released midway through the 2001–2002 season and returned to Ireland. He has since played for Shelbourne and Dundalk.
