"Top of the Pops, Volume 49", is a 1975 studio album by the Top of the Poppers. The album, like the rest in the series, consisted of sound-alike covers of major hits of the day, and sold very well, since albums featuring the original artists were too expensive for many people. Singers on the album include Ken Gold (a successful song-writer), John Perry, Stu Calver, and Tony Rivers (formally a member of Harmony Grass) [http://www.tonyrivers.com/totp2.html] .
