Software Engineering ( UET Taxila )

BSc Software Engineering program started in 2002 at UET Taxila. Initially classes were started in Electrical Engineering Department building. The software engineering program involves learning of systematic and quantifiable approach to the design, development, operation and maintenance of software systems from small to higher level of complexities. The program covers not only the technical aspects of design and development of software systems, but also their management and teamwork skills. The department offers 4 years degree program leading to B.Sc. in Software Engineering. At present, more than 200 students are enrolled in the program.New Computer and Software department building was inaugurated at the end of 2006.

Accreditation

BSc Software Engineering program of UET Taxila is accredited by Pakistan Engineering Council.
