Richie Rich (designer)

Richie Rich (born in California, U.S.) is an American fashion designer.

Early life in California

On the music stage at the 1992 Folsom Street Fair, Richie Rich performed, singing a song he had written called "Go-Go Dancer". Soon after that he moved to New York City.

Activities in New York City

In the mid 1990s, Rich was a staple on the New York City club kid scene, and made a cameo appearance in James St. James's club kid film "Party Monster".

Today he is part of the fashion duo known as Heatherette (together with Traver Rains). Rich is openly gay and is known for posing under the Facebook alter-ego Ballgown Jones.

Richie is releasing an album called "Celebutante" on October 21st, 2008 on record label Defend Music. The album is a compilation of songs including tracks from Lily Allen, Mya, Scissor Sisters, Blondie, and one from Richie himself, also titled "Celebutante."
