Paris Mountain State Park is a park located north of Greenville, South Carolina.

Activities available in the convert|1540|acre|km2|0|sing=on park include hiking, biking, swimming and picnicing. The convert|15|acre|m2|0|sing=on Lake Placid offers opportunities for swimming as well as fishing. Canoes, kayaks, pedal boats and surf bikes are seasonally available for rental, although private boats are not permitted. Camping is allowed, and campsites range from rustic back country sites to paved sites with water and electricity hook-ups. History

From 1889 to 1918, the Paris Mountain Water Company created the first water system for Greenville, building numerous lakes and dams on Paris Mountain. The water system was purchased by the City of Greenville, whom operated the system at Paris Mountain until a new reservoir at Table Rock was created.cite web|url=http://www.greenvillewater.com/BE0D86E5466E4BBC98329BAF1C4FC1B5.asp?page=1|date=2008-08-01|title="Greenville Water System History"] In 1935, the city donated the land for use as a state park. The Civilian Conservation Corps developed the park, building many of the facilities still in use.
