kibbutz in northernIsrael . Located in the easternSharon plain near the Green Line, it falls under the jurisdiction ofMenashe Regional Council . In 2006 it had a population of 264.The village was established in 1949 by
Hashomer Hatzair who had immigranted fromCzechoslovakia , and was named afterHaviva Reik . In 1951 it moved three kilometres east to its present location (land which had previously belonged to the abandoned Arab village ofal-Jalama ), withSde Yitzhak founded on the former site the following year.
