Lori Grivna (born 1960) is a Republican candidate for the
Minnesota House of Representatives in District 50B which contains all of New Brighton and Arden Hills with parts of Shoreview and Fridley. She currently resides in Shoreview with her husband and two children.Grivna ran for the same seat, unsuccessfully, against current State Representative
Kate Knuth in 2006. Previously the seat had been held byChar Samuelson , who retired the same year.Grivna previously served two terms on the
Mounds View District School Board , which serves all or parts of the cities of New Brighton, Shoreview, Arden Hills, North Oaks, Mounds View, Vadnais Heights, Roseville & Spring Lake Park. While on the school board she advocated for student achievement, funding reform and policy governance.She graduated from
Coon Rapids High School in 1978 and received herBachelor's Degree from theUniversity of Minnesota in 1983.Electoral History
