Lepturinae is a subfamily of the longhorn beetle family (Cerambycidae), containing some 100 genera worldwide, and most diverse in the Northern Hemisphere. Until recently the subfamily Necydalinae was included within the lepturines, but this has been recently recognized as a separate subfamily. These beetles differ from most cerambycids in that the compound eyes are generally ovate in outline, rather than being indented or divided.
