first=January 31 ,2008 "dro-mo" is a one-panel comic that since 31 January 2008 has appeared on the Comics Sherpa section of
GoComics and on a dedicated site, [http://www.dro-mo.com/ dro-mo.com] . The cartoon is credited to 'dro-mo-er'.The comic is wordless apart from the "dro-mo" title. Each cartoon features one or more figures that are drawn in the same simple style: a round circle for a head; two dots for eyes; an egg-shaped torso; long, bell-shaped arms with three fingers (the rest of the hand is not shown); and short legs. The figures have no mouth and are expressionless.
The comic often features a situation of something that has just happened or is about to happen. Another feature is placing the figure in a surreal situation, often with a suggestion of mortal danger.
On the "dro-mo" website, the cartoons are not named but numbered with the prefix "dro-mo". However, the first published cartoon is "dro-mo 007" [cite web

On 4 March 2008, "Comics Coast to Coast" named "dro-mo" as its web comic pick of the week:
This is exactly the kind of comic strip that the future comic audience will be gravitating toward. It caters to a short attention span, it works in any country in the world, it's clean, it's ideas are brilliant, and it's a great fit for a hand held device (like a cell phone or pda) which is where people are going to be getting their news more and more often as we go along in this century. I'd say, be on the lookout for more one panel strips like this. Dro-Mo is definitely ahead of the curve. [cite web
