Cieśnisk Wielki [ˈt​͡ɕɛɕnisk ˈvjɛlki] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Janów, within Sokółka County, Podlaskie Voivodeship, in north-eastern Poland.^[1] It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) north-east of Janów, 22 km (14 mi) north-west of Sokółka, and 47 km (29 mi) north of the regional capital Białystok.
