The Shaded Broad-bar "(Scotopteryx chenopodiata)" is a moth of the family Geometridae. It is found throughout Europe.

The wingspan is 25-30 mm. The length of the forewings is 16-19 mm. The moth flies in one generation from June to August ref|flight_season.

The larva feed on vetch and clover.
