- Qingdao Railway Station
Qingdao Railway Station (zh-s|s=青岛火车站) is a
railway station inQingdao ,Shandong in thePeople's Republic of China . As of July 2008, it is recently reopened from renovations. The new station is a fine example of Western architectural traits incorporated into a Chinese-designed building, which is consistent with many structures in Qingdao.During the station's renovation, the smaller
Sifang railway station , less than 10km away, served as as Qingdao's primary railway station. Currently, the two stations split railway duties, with tickets purchased at Qingdao often departing from Sifang. For example, the K294/295 from Shanghai arrives at Qingdao, while the D54/56/D58CRH2 EMU trains to Beijing depart from Sifang.
