Säfflebussen

Säfflebussen is a long distance bus company which runs regular services between Sweden's major cities. It also offers services to other (mainly neighbouring) countries, with destinations including Berlin, Hamburg (Germany), Copenhagen (Denmark), Oslo and Trondheim (Norway).

Other bus services that run similar routes include the E6 Express from NOR-WAY Bussekspress (Oslo-Sarpsborg-Göteborg and beyond) and Swebus Express.

In March 2006, Säfflebussen was acquired by the Norwegian bus company Nettbuss.

Critics

Swedish media has criticized Säfflebussen for speeding, citing pressure on drivers to keep their time tables as a contributing factor [http://www.sr.se/cgi-bin/vast/nyheter/artikel.asp?artikel=624590] . Also in 2006, at 17 occasions, drivers where arrested for drunk driving.
