It will then be raised to an operationalgeosynchronous orbit , and placed at a longitude of 125° West of theGreenwich Meridian , by an onboardIHI-500N engine.AMC-21 was constructed by
Thales Alenia Space , based on aSTAR-2 bus subcontracted toOrbital Sciences Corporation . It carries 24J band (IEEE Ku band )transponder s, which will be used to broadcast television signals toCanada theCaribbean ,Mexico , and theUnited States .ee also
