Bruce H. Lipshutz (born 1951) is an American chemist. He is a professor at the

Bruce Lipshutz received his undergraduate degree in chemistry from
SUNY Binghamton in 1973. He did his graduate work under the supervision of ProfessorHarry H. Wasserman atYale and obtained a PhD degree in 1977. He spent two years atHarvard as a post-doctoral researcher in the group of Nobel LaureateE. J. Corey . Soon after, he accepted a position of Assistant Professor atUCSB rising to the ranks of Professor in 1987. He has received theAlfred P.
