It is a public private partnership between The L N Mittal and Usha Mittal foundation and Government of Rajasthan. A non-profit organization.

History

This institute was started in year 2002 with a unique branch Communication and Computer Engineering in a temporary Campus near MNIT,Jaipur. Now It has its own beautiful Campus. Their qualified faculty and the quality of students is the only reason which make it a remarkable institute in the country. It was come up with the vision to establish a World class platform for creation, dissemination, and application of knowledge in the field of Information Technology through research, pedagogy, and consultation, as well as to become an effective catalyst for technological and societal development of the country through interactions with industries and academia.

Admission

The admissions for UG Programmes into LNMIIT, Jaipur are based only on merit in the AIEEE. Admissions are made only through AIEEE counselling conducted by Central Counselling Board of Ministry of Human Resource Development. No separate application needs to be sent to the institute for admission. During the AIEEE counselling process, the selected candidates desiring admission into the institute may give the option for LNMIIT, Jaipur.There are 60 seats in each branch (ECE, CSE, CCE).

The Institute invites applications for admission to its M Tech program in “ Communication and Computer Engineering”. This innovative programme has been designed by blending the currently important disciplines of Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics & Communication Engineering. The primary objective is to train the graduates into full-grown professionals in both these disciplines. The curriculum consists of well thought out course work, followed by research work embodied in the form of anM Tech thesis.
