Formerly known as Glen Morrow Mews, they have toured Southern Ontario extensively; among their most notable accomplishments as an act so far was winning second place in the Supernova-sponsored Yamaha Last Band Standing in 2006 [ [http://www.supernova.com/shows/869] . http://www.supernova.com/shows/869. Most recently, with the rechristening of their name to Port 26, they played the Toronto Islands' Wakestock Music Festival 2008, sharing the stage with such other acts like Hot Water Music, Metric, and The Dillinger Escape Plan [ [http://www.wakestock.com/bands.html] . http://www.wakestock.com/bands.html. Soon after playing the Telus main stage at Wakestock, Port 26 has been busy performing at the Molson Amphitheatre in association with Live Nation and American Express [http://www10.americanexpress.com/sif/cda/page/0,1641,13509,00.asp] , for the likes of fellow Canadian artists Avril Lavigne, Ill Scarlett, and Simple Plan with Faber Drive, as well as Buffalo natives Cute is What We Aim For, and L.A's Metro Station [http://www.simpleplan.com/tour.php] .
