Fred Brooman

Frederick Howard Brooman CB (3 May 1919 – 8 June 2007) was a British accountant and civil servant.

Broman was in the REME in World War II, working on many artillery weapons where he met his wife Chrissy.

After the war, Brooman became involved in the United Reform Church, and using his knowledge of accounting picked up as working for the Inland Revenue he became the churches accountant. Through hard work he became the district and then the country accountant for the United Reform Church.

In 1950, he had his first child, Lesley Brooman, 3 years later he had his second, Hugh Brooman.Fred Brooman was living in Weybridge in London. His hobbies involved Bridge, Jigsaws and anything mechanical.
