- 2001 FIVB Men's World Grand Champions Cup
The 2001 Volleyball World Grand Champions Cup was held from November 20 to November 25, 2001 in the cities of Nagoya and Tokyo in Japan.
Teams were made up as follows: hosts Japan, continental champions from Europe, Asia, NORCECA and South America, plus wild-card team nominated jointly by FIVB, NTV and the Japan Volleyball Association. Teams played a single-round robin format (15 games overall). Japan is the traditional host of the tournament since it began with the first edition in 1993.
