Manuel Alonso (November 12, 1895 – October 11, 1984) was a former Spanish top-ranking tennis player.
Alonso was a Wimbledon All-comers finalist in 1921 and French Open semi-finalist in 1921 as well. He was a quarter-finalist in the U.S. Championships in 1922, 1923, 1925, and 1927. Additionally, Alonso was a Davis Cup Team Member in 1921, 1924, 1931, and 1936. He is best known for being ranked World No. 5 in 1927, and U.S. No. 2 in 1929. In 1977, a few years before his death, he was inducted into the Tennis Hall of Fame.
