Sonic Youth Career 1981-1982

Ann DeMarinis was in the alternative rock band Sonic Youth. She was only in the band for a very short period from 1981-1982 as a keyboardist. She also did vox, along with Kim Gordon, and Thurston Moore, on three (known) Sonic Youth songs performed once, and only live on June 18, 1981. The songs are entitled "Noisefest #1", "Noisefest #2", and "Noisefest #3". She also played guitar on that same show on the song entitled "Noisefest #4".

Other Works

Ann also appears on the album Glenn Branca's Symphony No. 1. The album is all instrumental. She is credited for keyboards, and percussion. Thurston Moore, and Lee Ranaldo also appear on this album.
