Galo Canote or Galo "Make" Canote (MakeOne) was born in
Los Angeles . He also lived inGuadalajara ,Jalisco -Mexico in the early to mid 80s. He is one of the originators of the graffiti art movement in Los Angeles and also rumored to be apioneer of the graffiti art movement in Guadalajara, Mexico.Fact|date=August 2008Career
At an early age, it is said he was heavily involved in
art [ [http://www.makeone.org/site/manifesto.html] ] . He dropped out of commercial art classes and high school and graffiti became a serious part of his life. In 1985, he along with friends David “Sine” Davilas and Sergio “Doc43” Rueda formed the graffiti crew STN (Second To None crew) [ [http://www.makeone.org/site/manifesto.html] ] . One of the most prolific graffiti art crews in Los Angeles. Also one of LA’s most reputable.Around 1987-88, he moved to Guadalajara, Mexico [ [http://www.makeone.org/site/manifesto.html] ] . During his stay in Guadalajara it is when he helped pioneer the graffiti art movement in Mexico. He also allegedly helped re-introduce
Hip-Hop too.Shortly, upon his return to
LA , he, along with other crew-members and friends, worked on thebandshell of a park,MacArthur Park , in the Los Angeles area. Mexico ,Japan ,Taiwan andTaipei .
