The Hanze Institute of Technology (HIT) is part of the Hanzehogeschool Groningen, in the Netherlands. The HIT is based in Assen where it offers a Bachelor Programme in Advanced Sensor Applications (ASA).
Aims
The HIT aims to become Europe’s most advanced engineering school. With its international staff, its partner organisations and its continuous drive and inspiration, the HIT tries to bring the human dimensions into technology.
Curriculum
The ASA is a four-year programme that consists of an introductory year and a three-year main phase. The bachelor is based upon different areas of knowledge: Electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mathematics, natural sciences, computer science, and human technology. In the fourth year students choose to specialise in the field of entrepeneurship, research and development, or industry.
