Joshua M. Zeitz is the Democratic nominee for the 2008 election for the United States House of Representatives from New Jersey's 4th congressional district. The incumbent is Republican Chris Smith.

He was born in Trenton and raised in Bordentown, where he attended Bordentown Regional High School. Zeitz obtained his B.A. from Swarthmore College, and also has an A.M. and a Ph.D. in American history from Brown University.
