Vesnarinone (INN) is a cardiotonic agent.A mixed phosphodiesterase inhibitor and ion-channel modifier that has modest, dose-dependent, positive inotropic activity, but minimal negative chronotropic activity. Vesnarinone improves ventricular performance most in patients with the worst degree of heart failure.
