Robert Joseph Skaltsis born April 15th 1962 Brockton Mass.

Was a member of the notable pop group(s) the Lines 1981-1989 Axminster 1983-1987 Wildside 1988-1994/2008 the Nines 1994-2003

Attended Brockton High School in Brockton MA & Framingham State College where he excelled in athletics , and Fine Arts .He's made appearances on several television shows including the second annual broadcast of the CMJ awards USA Network, and MTV Underground Cafe along with numerous television commercials . Reputed by publications , fellow musicians , and music producers to be one of the music industry's most solid and reliable bass players , and a consumate stage performer .

Retired from music in 2006 after a brief , but failed attempt to resurect the New York pop group Diving for Pearls by lead singer and childhood friend Dan "Sonny" Malone . Suffered a "mini -stroke" in March of 2007 from which he's made a full recovery . In 2008 He is out of retirement and , currently in the midst of reforming the 80s rock group Wildside with all the original members including his brother , guitarist / song writer Peter Skaltsis .
