"Simoedosaurus" is an extinct genus of diapsid reptile.

The crocodile-like "Simoedosaurus", related to the better-known "Champsosaurus", was a semi-aquatic animal that probably hunted like crocodiles, plucking drinking animals from the shore. It had a long skull with powerful jaws lined with cone-shaped teeth. The teeth also had a small crest at the back and the front, unlike those of a crocodile. "Simoedosaurus" also had small teeth in the roof of the mouth.
