Veil of Maya are a progressive deathcore band based in Oak Park, Illinois. The group has recorded two full length albums; All Things Set Aside (2006), which was released on Corrosive Recordings and the most recent, The Common Man's Collapse (2008), which was released on Sumerian Records. The band is said by many to have a heavy Meshuggah influence. They recently finished the Brothers of Brutality Tour with Emmure, A Life Once Lost, and The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza, as well as the The Summer Slaughter Tour in Canada. They are currently part of the Pillage the Village tour, with Beneath the Massacre, Dying Fetus, and Necrophagist.
