Eulogio Despujol

Eulogio Despujolcite-Karnow|Eulogio Despujol] served as a Spanish Governor-General of the Philippines from 1891 to 1893. At first, he ruled in the Philippines as a conservative but later became a reactionary. He was the governor-general who banished José Rizal, the Philippine national hero, to Mindanao.
