- Bengal Bouts
The Bengal Bouts is a charity
boxing tournament hosted by the Men's Boxing Club held annually at theUniversity of Notre Dame , with proceeds benefiting theHoly Cross Missions inBangladesh . Begun in 1920 by legendary football coachKnute Rockne to condition football players in the offseason, the tournament later expanded entry to any member of the student body. [cite web
